It really is all coming together. With the latest update, it seems that 2 of the oldest crashes have been completely eliminated (there’s some other misc crashes but at least I know how to reproduce all of them).
This next update is focused on adding saved posts/comments. I’m going to implement this by using the server’s saved post/comments list. This is as opposed to a client side implementation. If anyone has any reasons for why I shouldn’t do this, now is the time to let me know.
We are approaching the end of the “core features” section of the roadmap. As such, I will be shifting my focus on polishing the app. I will likely be adding a ton of tiny stuff over the next few updates as I get read for the big 1.0 release.
Oh yeah. Once the core features have been implemented I am planning on bringing the app out of beta which is why the app will be fully polished when it happens.
Changes so far:
- Fixed a bug where swipe actions would be temporarily disabled when layout type is changed.
- Fixed a bug where cards would always display the full image even if the setting was disabled.
- Added long press an image thumbnail to open the full screen view.
- Support cannonical community mentions.
- Improve rendering performance of text.
- Added a setting for tap comment to collapse.
- Rearrange settings to make more sense.
- Implement the saved posts/comments screen
- Added option to save comments/posts
- Support cropping images when adding images to post/comments/etc
- Fixed more crashes
- Added about screen
- Added swipe actions to the post within the post screen
Where is 🤷🏼 the new update. I’m waiting 20 hour ⏳. I can’t wait any longer 😂😂😂
