Well, enjoy the tickling sensation on your face when you’re in bed. You can’t see what it is so you should be fine.

You know “the average person eats 8 spiders per year in their sleep” urban legend? It’s sort of true, most people don’t eat any but there’s one guy named Rick in Columbus who eats thousands so the numbers are skewed.

Apparently that was a social experiment to see how many people would believe it.

Which is kinda fucked cause it messed me up when I was too young to understand that adults don’t always know what they’re talking about. For years, I would go to bed with the top sheet wrapped over my mouth so spiders couldn’t get in. For some asshole’s social experiment.

Even if they are not deadly poisonous, their bites are still annoying af.

Same. I’ll almost always click the link. I was forged in the fires of the pain Olympics as a preteen, I can deal with just about anything. An old employer used to pay me extra to watch autopsy videos during my lunch break.

            But spiders? Nope.

Come on it’s safe, trust me.

Source: I have 2 Regal jumping spiders as pets.

Really though, they are very cute. Sometimes I’ll find the bigger one chilling out in her sleeping bag with just her toes poking out, it’s adorable.
