Not that I’m aware of. For pixelfed, you still have to go through account setup when logging in from your mastodon for the first time, so I think it is just a feature implemented from the developers of pixelfed.

Exactly! I hadn’t used Twitter in almost 15 some odd years and because I started in Lemmy, I learned about mastodon.
While I’m not a daily user, I still have an account.
I’m going to be setting up a pixelfed account soon.
And loops once it’s stable.
Lemmy continues to be where I spend the majority of my time.
Just so you know, you can login to pixelfed with your mastodon account. I assume they’ll add that feature to loops as well if they haven’t yet.

Use Masterson occasionally, and just created my pixelfed account and love posting my food pics over there.
