The reason Elon supports right wing populism in europe is so that him and all the other US oligarchs can buy out all the gains european people made as a result of mass movements and the threat of the spread of communism. Public health services, public transport services, environmental protections, consumer protections, paid holidays, disability pay… Anything that is worth anything will be sold off to the US oligarchs for pennies on the dollar while the top guys in AfD, NF, FdI, Reform UK etc. get their cut. Any and all safeguards standing against the looting will be removed and if any single country tries to resist, they will be drowned under the weight of tariffs.
This is of course nothing new, US and European countries have done exactly this to countless countries on the global south throughout the 20th century. What’s new is the crosshairs of the big dog is now turned on europe.
