Making a movie by taking advantage of a tragedy in which thousands of people lost their homes and some even their lives is in poor taste. Many of these people are vulnerable and don’t have a safety net, they won’t be able to rebuild their lives after this.
Remember how The Creator got backlash for using footage of the Beirut explosion?
So giving them money to use their burned-out land for like, 3 months, is bad? As has always been the case, “poor taste” is exceedingly impractical and negative for society.
Using real footage of people dying really butts up against the practicality line, but why fake an explosion if it’s already recorded? Same with the train crash thing in a similar vein.
Actually I am i really made the effort to source local and Union made clothing. It was expensive, I have to care for it because I own less pieces. But in the end I didn’t buy it and I still don’t feel guilty.
Honestly, that would be epic.
Too bad the masses will think its in poor taste

What if they like put an ad in the newspaper, the people on film who died can write in if they are opposed to it? /S just in case…
What are you talking about? That’s not the subject at hand.
Typed from your slave made cellphone from the comfort of your slave sewn clothes… Poor taste indeed.
Youre right, lets throw away all technology and strip naked because people were abused in the making of them! What a stupid gotcha argument.
I never expected to meet a Pro-Slaver how very fall-out of you.
They aren’t slaves they are independent contractors
Tomato tomato. Long as you feel good about your participation in human suffering.
So you’re not a fan of dark humor. That’s fine. I wouldn’t make assumptions about people making obvious jokes though, were I you.
Dark humor couples with slave joke 🤔 uh I don’t think this is appropriate.
Are you wearing magical guilt free clothing that’s better than ours?

Ok so why aren’t you evangelizing it? I’d buy such a thing.
Great, very cool. I hope it helped the world in its own way.
Being human isn’t zero sum. Even the mighty vegan is guilty of animal death in the way of clearing land for crops and domiciles.
Casting for extras just got super easy too, come as you are. --kidding
