Go for free healthcare, free education for all, legalize weed everywhere, reform the police system top to bottom, put various new laws in place that will ensure that mobster dictator wannabes will never ever be able to get in power again, give people actual workers rights and real vacation days like in Europe, completely abolish slavery (including in the prisons).
Reform prisons top to bottom, reform schools to rid the system of religion completely and to ensure that all schools, public or private, rich or poor, will have the same standards. Fund government independent foundations that can give grants to companies to invest in renewable energy, fund government independent foundations that will fund journalists and news organizations, only if their reporting will be 100% neutral.
Put restrictions to companies in how large they can become to avoid monopolies or near monopolies as current travel, internet, and grocery stores are. Push public transportation and cyclable and walkable cities so that everyone, car or no car, can go wherever they need to, safely. Reorganize the pharmaceutical industry top to bottom to weed out the abuse. Make it that top level executives from companies can be held criminally (as on go to jail) liable if and when they break the law.
Put laws in place to push housing construction as needed to guarantee that everyone can live comfortably.
I can go on but that is a good start.
How to find all this? Easy. lower investment into the US army by 30%, raise taxes on the rich. Put a top in place on both monthly income and total net worth. Once your monthly income crosses a line, all the surplus will be 100% taxes. Samen goes for total wealth. No one should be worth a billion dollars. No one should be worth 100 million dollars. Put a cap at, I dunno, 10 million dollars. Anything above that? Taxes. Then you’ll have a shit tonne of extra money available that can be used for all of that and to pay off the national debt in no time.
THAT will get you votes, but you’ll never do even a tiny fraction of that because fuck those dirty people at the bottom that you don’t want to have to deal with.
