Just saw on Masto that Resynthesizer will be compatible with GIMP 3.0
I think this is great news. Apart from all the upgrades we’ll get in 3.0, it will be an opportunity to create a buzz around GIMP. The more functional it is, the better that buzz will be :)

Had to look it up myself what that even is. See https://github.com/bootchk/resynthesizer/wiki/Quick-user’s-guide-to-the-Resynthesizer-plugins-for-GIMP
There’s something wrong with your link. When I click it, it searches Duck Duck Go for the URL instead of opening it. My guess is it’s the unescaped single quote.
Let me try fixing that…

Yup. That was it. The unescaped single quote is fucking up the DDG browser. It works fine, though, when pasted into a Firefox based browser.
No. I thought it may be a problem but I checked the link from Lemmy’s default web UI and it works. Just now verified that it still does. If you use an app or another web UI, the problem is there and not the link. Consider filing a bug report there.
OK, but what browser do you use? Like I said, it worked in Firefox.
It works fine everywhere: Firefox, Chromioum, even Safari on macOS.
You said you needed to paste the link. I just click on it. Verified to work from lemmy-ui on multiple browsers. If you needed to, your client or browser is broken. What is definitively wrong is you adding another S to the URL. That’s now 100% broken.
No, it was only 80% broken! It still brought you to this wiki. It was an unfortunate error, though, trying to copy just the encoded quote from a URL escaping online tool. I fixed it now.
I’m using Thunder on Android. My default browser is DDG. When I tap the link, it opens the browser and performs a search as if I had typed words in the url bar and not a URL.
That’s why I had to copy into test it in Firefox because Firefox isn’t my default browser.
Just now, I instead shared your comment’s permalink to DDG and clicked the link and it works fine. So, yeah, it’s something to do with Thunder.
Then file a bug report there please.
