      You don’t think it won’t be greatly more difficult, and complicated, to corrected the litany of systemic issues that lead to mass shootings, in the US, vs just not launching spacecraft this close to populated areas?

          No, it hasn’t. The point is, when you aren’t being intentionally obtuse, that it actually would not be a multi-decade process that would require a large restructuring of laws, economics, medical care, etc. to move the launch facility, to a place where the rocket takes off from a low population area, with a trajectory over a place with no urban areas.

            we pay lip service to such things, but neither gov really cares in the end. whether it’s a chinese rocket or a colt AR clone ‘pistol’ neither really give a flying fuck.
