    Lots of images are webp but when I share them I just get the link to the file instead of a downloaded and cached media share.

    Are you on Android? And are you using native app or PWA? Let me know a specific example too and I’ll check it out

      To be fair it only happens with sharing to Telegram! WhatsApp and iMessage are fine and parse the link as an image.
