I didn’t mind the ranged combat tbh, but hopefully this is an evolution of it in a good way. Compared to the Rock-Paper-Scissors combat of melee, I do agree that ranged was lacking. Perhaps you can still use a bow for lesser armored ranged foes, but will need the gun for more armored targets.
