    Preparing for the “I don’t get to work remotely so neither should you” crowd. I’m sure they’re coming to shill for big business.

    Managers hate work remotely. Less opportunity to micromanage employees to prove their own worth.

      Au contraire. I’m a manager who enjoys work remotely. I don’t give a shit what my team is doing or where they are doing it from, or when, or whatever. As long as they are comfortable.

      The formula is something like: People’s comfort x Shit gets done + my bosses are satisfied at shit getting done so they leave me the fuck alone= happy me.

      Managers who’s style is “strictly control every facet in your charges’ day” shouldn’t be managers.

      Also…I don’t get to work from home, so no other Stone Mason should! Is what I’d say if I wasn’t actively working on my house evenings and weekends…
