    Legal status. Which I am sure they’re talking about revoking because she’s been “charged with a crime.”

    That is the plan. Even for people who are in the US legally, just charge them with a crime, and that legal status can be pulled and they can be deported. Maybe even to Gitmo in the near future.

    ICE is Gestapo.

      What does legal status mean exactly? Is that like a permanent resident or some kind of work residency? What legal status is common for a 18 year old? Just trying to understand what exactly is being revoked.

        Could be a lot of things. Could be a tourist visa, student visa, H1B, green card, probably a mess of other things I’m not aware of. Some kind of “You’re not a citizen, but it’s legal for you to be in the United States” paperwork.

        I’d expect that the 18 year old is probably attached to her parents’ status.
