Horrible show that grabs your attention with TikTok/casino techniques and no substance. Even the director said this show is just a cash grab. It’s a very long Mr.Beast video.
The first season was an excellent and incisive critique of capitalism.
The second season is a perfect example of capitalism subsuming all criticism into itself, and by extension both validating and undermining said criticism.
Agreed. Still gonna watch it though. Not because it’s good, but because it’s so easy.
