yes. there’s about six active genocides right now. one of those is russia’s quest to erase and eliminate the Ukrainian people. that is what genocide is. mass torture with the aim of ending a people’s story from being told. russia is separating families, killing civilians and particularly children, and pushing propaganda that Ukraine’s historic existence doesn’t make sense. i want to know why you hold the defenders in this war responsible for acts of war, and i want to know why you take issue with calling a genocide a genocide
