I’ll start.

Laws:

Aggravated Digital Piracy. Downloading probably thousands dollars worth of content. yaRrr 🏴‍☠️ (btw, check out: [email protected] it’s blocked by lemmy.world instance btw)

I flew a drone without FAA LAANC approval, and beyond “line of sight” rules. (I checked air radar online, there were zero flights near me at such low altitudes that I was flying my drone, so zero safety issues)

I sent a string of encrypted text over Ham Radio bands as a “proof of concept” for a off-grid comucation method. (Rattlegram is an app on Android and iOS, that can convert text to audio; Secure Space Encryptor (SSE) is an open source encryption app that can encrypt a string of plaintext into a string of ciphertext (this app is called “Paranoia Text Encryption” on iOS), you can copy-paste this ciphertext into Rattlegram and sent it over Ham Radio, then reverse the process on the other end. Voila, encrypted off-grid communications) Encryption over Ham Radio is illegal, but whatever lmfao, fuck the FCC.

A lot of jaywalking, because I was feeling suicidal and didn’t care. Never got a fine lol.

School rules:

Probably the most common is the no-phone rule. (don’t worry, my education was fine, didn’t miss anything important)

My high-school (in the USA) made you wear a tie, I often don’t until staff tells me to, then proptly take it off when they are out of sight. (It’s so fucking unfortable) Idk why they even have dress codes when my school was so “ghetto” af.

Workplace:

That no-phone rule again 🙃

Oh, I used a pen and wrote marxist shit on the bathroom walls at my workplace (I’m not even a marxist, I just wanna fuck shit up). Never got caught. Statute of limitations probably expired by now, can’t even sue me if they now found out who did it.

Websites: A lot of Terms of Service. A lot of community rules in forums.

What rules have you broken? 👀

Yesh they weren’t good people and especially bad with animals. Poor kitten had worms and was super malnourished and they didnt seem to care. Wasn’t spayed either. The new owners got her sorted out and she’s doing fine ever since

Are they like poor? Because I think they are.

        super malnourished

Bruh, like… is the cat really thin? Idk why people do that, cheap catfood always exist if they can’t afford the expensive ones. I mean they aren’t great, but at least it shows they are trying their best.

(Or if they are really broke, just shoplift catfood, fuck the law lol, my cats are getting fed, big corp can get fucked.)

        had worms

The worms tho… hmm yea that is a bit harder to fix when poor, but if the cat was fed, then they probably wouldn’t be weak and have health issues in the first place.

        Wasn’t spayed either

Yea, bad financial decision, you don’t want kitty to have more kitties, and pregnancy is a health risk, there are too much cats, the cat probably doesn’t want to be pregnant anyways.

If it weren’t for the fact they they didn’t get fed, I probably wouldn’t be okay with you stealing the cat, I would probably more on the side of “you should probably talk to them”, because medical expenses for pets are quite expensive.

But yea, in this scenario, the underfeeding is kinda where I draw the line, cat food isn’t as expensive as veterinary care, they should’ve been able to afford it. I mean, when people’s babies are hungry, and they can’t afford it, they don’t let their baby starve, they shoplift. Most juries wouldn’t convict you for stealing cat food, and even then, the judge would probably be lenient. So I’m with you on this one.

Edit: And if they weren’t in any way poor, especially if they are like “middle class” or above, then they really have no excuses, pets should get all the food they need and all medical problems should be treated since, if money isn’t the issue, then its just intentional cruelty.
