I’m horrible with hardware and tools. All I really own is a small set of screwdrivers I bought from Daiso down the street. Everything else I have to borrow from my brother.

I didn’t expect to be able to fix the broken key (a hammer mechanism inside the broken key no longer stayed in place), but with my son’s craft glue and 24 hours of curing, the key is working as expected again.

I’ve been riding the high of fixing it all day.

The best kind of high! I tell people that fixing things is a super power. At least it makes me feel like it.

It really is! Now I’m tempted to try and see what’s wrong with my old guitar amp. I have the feeling that issue is out of my league, though.

Why not try it out? Can’t get worse, anyway. Hopefully it’s something you can find out with a quick visual examination, like a blown fuse or tube, or maybe a blown capacitor.
