I’m horrible with hardware and tools. All I really own is a small set of screwdrivers I bought from Daiso down the street. Everything else I have to borrow from my brother.
I didn’t expect to be able to fix the broken key (a hammer mechanism inside the broken key no longer stayed in place), but with my son’s craft glue and 24 hours of curing, the key is working as expected again.
I’ve been riding the high of fixing it all day.
I resoldered the power connector on mine the other day. Not perfect, but it’s working again. This of course was after already buying a replacement power cable hoping that was the issue…
