This is why we’re losing. If your political movement can’t have allies who aren’t strictly members, then you’ll lose. If you push people away who may disagree but are sympathetic, you’ll lose.
This is why the fascists are winning. They are welcoming everyone who they can stomach until the second they don’t need to. This is why tankies always get us in the end; because they can pretend for as long as they need to use us, and then discard us without qualm.

Think of like Buddhists. I don’t think you can say that:

Yeah, but if you just stand there while someone abuses someone else while you have the power to stop it, but you claim “pacifist absolutist” or you did it because of Buddhism im not going to like you either.
I’m not disagreeing with the fact that, the pacifists who believes in the “violence is never okay” worldview is also partly responsible for when nazis take over the world and they don’t help stop it. But I disagree on labeling them the same as “nazis”. Because Buddhists aint nazis, they just have a wrong worldview about the acceptable use of force.
What I’m saying is that… in a revolution to overthrow nazis, I think the nazis would deserve to get shot, but I’d say leave the Buddhists alone. I’d try to educate them on why them not helping stop fascism is wrong, but I’m not gonna treat them like an actual nazi and kill them.
