U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that the United States will withdrawing from the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) and will not renew funding for the UN agency helping Palestinian refugees.
Well, with Trump at the helm, and USAID killed off to support tax breaks for suffering billionaires, I would say that that giving up on the human rights council is a proper move.
Plus this is basically just continuing policies started under Biden, so it’s not like there’s any reason to believe US opposition to anything that might help Palestinians will be a temporary thing
