Residents of Alberta seem to be the most open to the concept of Canada joining the US as a new state, an idea US President Donald Trump has repeatedly floated over the past couple of months.

A new poll conducted by Research Co. on tariffs in Canada asked whether respondents were on board with the notion of initiating a formal process for Canada to become an American state, and Alberta led the pack in being the most responsive to it.

Alberta leads Canada in support of joining the United States, with 12% of respondents saying they would “definitely consider it,” followed by 7% saying they would “probably consider it.”

And only 12% of them agreed. Take those 12% and give them a one way ticket to the US then please!

They didn’t even agree to it. The question was “would you consider it?”

This is the reality of it, 12% is the national high lol.

Sure this information could be used as a way to inflame disdain towards Albertans, or it could be celebrated as “the most American friendly province is decidedly unfriendly to America right now”.

Albertans have never been this much in agreement on ANYTHING in more than 20 years.

I personally don’t have anything against people from Albert, I have things against people who wish to limit access to Healthcare and don’t think trans people are people. Doesn’t matter which province they’re from
