I have problems with people who abstained. The hard thing is, how do you change voter behavior?

It’s a fundemental aspect of the medium, though. A bit of a stretch to call people cowards for interacting in the way the platform was designed around.

Reading comprehension is not your strong suit i take it….

Solely ‘downvoting’ with no expressed reasoning besides presumably being butthurt and as one person said ‘because it’s presented wrong’ is coward like. It was designed around comments, the vote system is one aspect and the least important one that, i don’t think you know what ‘fundamental’ means.

But, if it’s not important, why are you so sensitive to it?

Sensitive? It was a passing remark used to segway into the actual point lol however, you can’t seem to get over it

I confess, I shouldn’t have used the less common meaning. “[…] why are you so aware of it?” would have been a more accessible phrasing. Why is it important to you?

That doesn’t change anything… but since my comments going to be arbitrarily removed then this i pointless anyway. Besides that you’re just going to keep being indirect just to waste time and dissolve the thread. Its not more important than the content, but it’s a good metric for gauging the audience

You are complicit, by your own logic.

Uhhh yeah…. We all are in more indirect ways, like in taxes and the products we support and use, which makes this look even more absurd to try and pass yourself off as innocent. Though some are more complicit than others…Some like to double down on it

The only tears here are from rolling our eyes too hard. You’re being downvoted not based on the merit of the arguments you bring, but on how you present them.

Why would someone choose to interact with you to discuss the issue, rather than the dozens of folks in here saying the same thing but in a less tedious way? You bring nothing novel except perplexingly bad bait. Thats the whole point here.

It is beautiful that you insta downvoted my response here. True chef’s kiss moment.

Seriously though, if you can’t recognize a rhetorical question why do you feel that your opinions on geopolitics are worth engaging with?

Err… Not not directly for, I admit, but I do work with the state dept on occasion. There’s a whole bunch of us in here, in fact. Decentralized platforms are extremely popular with policy-adjacent techies, I wonder why. But that’s really neither here nor there, because critically I’m not presenting my geopolitical opinions here, but you sure are. And in nearly the same breath you do that, you criticize OP as fodder for the “objectively stupid” but elsewhere reject the very notion of criticism of your own opinions. I don’t exactly need to cite the five canons (I’ll save you the trouble) to highlight the flaws in your behavior here.

Seems like a conflict of interest…. I can see where you mastered the art of spin though

It was more like the opposite, if you remember the main point was that they simply downvoted without explanation, and no criticism has been directly to the content only aesthetic points. Not all opinions are equal…. Its less of an ‘opinion’ that if all those people voted for kamala she still would have lost, but a mathematical and cultural certainty. Keep blaming minorities though and keep losing to trump and your red friends

YOU didn’t sell your team good enough, YOU didn’t offer shit besides literally threats of worse violence. YOU are to blame for your own system that failed these people. YOU look in you own mirror…
