    ADHD is not a disease or fixed condition. Like with all mental medical descriptions, it’s a term that outlines and defines a set of behavior patterns or symptoms. So while I doubt the user above is making this distinction, they’re still correct in at least the fact that executive function and attention-spans can indeed be impacted negatively by constant distractions and self-training to tune out some kinds of information. Which can be (but not always) symptoms of ADHD. You don’t “have” something like ADHD as much as you exhibit behavior consistent with the description.
