President Donald Trump said late Sunday that he has ordered the U.S. Treasury Department to stop producing pennies.

minus-squareChozolinkfedilink0•18 hours agoHave we ever come close to running out of pennies? Given that almost every household in the US has an enormous jar full of them, I’d have to imagine that there isn’t even really a need to produce more pennies in the first place.

You’re correct, it’s not shown often.
Have we ever come close to running out of pennies? Given that almost every household in the US has an enormous jar full of them, I’d have to imagine that there isn’t even really a need to produce more pennies in the first place.
