Castiel said that if a human would see his true form, he wouldn’t be able to take it and die.

But when its just them in Heaven, they are still im human form?

Same with the demons, they are in human forms when in Hell.

because its a tv show?

its not like they would have the budget to constantly create cgi angels / devils, constumes would most likely look like shit.

oh and also its way easier to queerbait when characters are handsome white men.
