I finally got Dolphin to work on my Raspberry Pi 5, but some of the games (especially Super Mario Sunshine) seem to lag if there’s too much going on on the screen. I tried what was listed on the retropie site which was to change the screen resolution and that helped a little, but not tremendously.
The other option I see people talking about is overclocking the CPU but in all honesty I’m pretty new at this and I heard that can actually damage the Raspberry Pi if you don’t know what you’re doing…
Does anyone have any other suggestions?
I use retropie on a 4b and N64 sometimes lags, so I’m surprised you can play a GameCube game on the 5. However if you are new, I agree you should not overclock your 5.
There was a lot of work to get it up and running since it’s not included with retropie but it seems to play fine aside from the few choppy bits! Dreamcast worked perfectly, I haven’t had any problems there at all
