First handwired design/build
I designed this little desk-mounted macropad last week and finally got around to wiring it up yesterday. It was a fun little project but I’m not great at soldering so the wiring was a bit challenging. Really happy with how it turned out, though!
Specs:
- Raspberry Pi Pico MCU
- Gateron Oil Kings
- Drop Dasher
Right now 7, 8, and 9 are mute, volume down, volume up. 4 and 5 toggle my mic and webcam in Zoom, 6 needs to be mapped to something still, and Return definitely does not toggle a mouse jiggler.
Ah. So the keycaps aren’t literal.
Nope, they just weren’t being used and were the right rows to go with the ISO.
