Mikel Arteta is already dealing with injuries to forwards Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus.

Arsenal forward Kai Havertz will be assessed after suffering a muscular injury during the team’s Dubai training camp.

The extent of the injury is not yet known but, given Arsenal’s already reduced options up front, staff are concerned.

        joke aside, heard a rumour via Twitter ITKs that we’re considering Merino as an “auxiliary striker in case of emergencies”. Pretty dire.
