      Well, first off, way too many communities are already there. What’s the point of coming to a federated service if we end up with most of it in the hands of the few admins again?

      Secondly, well, if you’re happy there I’ll leave it at that.

        Yeah but this meme refers to abandoned communities. I get creating new communities on other instances, but there’s nothing wrong with adopting an abandoned community that is already there.

          Wholeheartedly disagree. If it abandoned and no one’s posting then why revive? If it’s active and unmoderated, sure.
