“He who saves his Country does not violate any Law.” is what he said.

    Get the guillotines sharpened.

literally begging for a violent revolt… to go down a martyr for his ‘cause’ and for his master.

Well, no, martial law is obviously his plan. So the question is, how to avoid violent revolution? Can we…just let the house of cards collapse? Just start taking care of each other and ignore (as best we can) the parasite “elite”?

        I can dream I guess …

Only viable violent option is to rapidly take out everyone important at once or rapidly and I don’t see that working so honestly something like a general strike(rolling or mass) would be best

The lack of class consciousness is pretty stunning. Everyone thinks they’re going to be the owner one day and they’ll get to step on people’s necks. Not enough people realize that’s probably not going to happen , and not enough people reject the idea of stepping on necks altogether.

Fear truly is insidious, isn’t it? Flight or fight means the destruction of reason and logic. Without those, emotions reason supreme, and cannot effectively be managed.

That’s the vile secret at the center of capitalism, btw; currency absolutely does not represent value of your labor. No. It’s units of fear. Fear of loss of home or comforts, even fear that we’ll never be able to strike it rich. Even the twisted sociopathic billionaires have fallen victim to fear of not having “enough”, which is such blatantly neurotic thinking, of course.

It does defy all credulity that capitalism, an entire system built on “confidence”, has taken over the world. Only in this case, I use the term as it’s used when we say “confidence man” or, more commonly known as “con artist”. But confidence is not trust; it is an attempt to assuage fear.

Significant amount of Americans support what he is doing so revolution would be unlikely, and people opposed are apathetic or scared. History seems to point more towards American mimicking what happened with Germany after Hitler took power and people either being captive in the country should leaving cease to be an option, and regime change being entirely dependent on foreign intervention than an internal one.

And given that the US has the strongest military things aren’t looking great for change over the past decades if the US fully shifts to an authoritarian government.
