I don’t think this is anything specific to Taiwan, just the Trump team’s general rule of going into any situation where the correct strategy is “nothing” and starting in on “FUCK THAT LET’S START DOING SOME STUFF I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT’S HAPPENING HERE BTW.”
