Summary

Despite aggressive immigration enforcement efforts, ICE is failing to meet Trump’s mass deportation targets. Initial goals of 1,200–1,500 arrests per day have dropped to fewer than 600.

Resource constraints and exhausted officers have slowed operations, leading to the reassignment of ICE’s top two enforcement officials.

The White House is frustrated by detainees being released due to legal, medical, or logistical issues.

To boost arrests, agents from other federal agencies have been enlisted, and Republicans are pushing for more ICE funding to increase staffing.

Has ICE considered just lying about their numbers? It’s not like anything this administration is doing has any basis in reality anyway.

Or even better … they are fudging their numbers but still can’t raise their stats high enough

If I was working for Trump I would be lying my ass off while looking for another job. However it could be argued that staying and lying to him might be good for America.

That sounds like a lottery, and some people might be sent to a Scandinavian country, basically winning the lottery.

My great-great-great grandfather came over from Germany in 1870. I’m not sure he did it legally so I volunteer to go back

Pro-tip: Report yourself to ICE as a [insert country you want to live in], and you live there now!

I did find out we’re direct descendants of Myles Standish, which i thought was pretty cool. Then I was told there’s about 5 million of us

Hhey at least your ancestors weren’t idiots who seemed to be destined to half exterminate themselves. Nearly 500 years and probably a thousand of us total from what I can put together, records reflect this lots of young men and women dying in their teens and 20s.

Weirdly enough possibly not from that branch, they were still bitter about the Normans taking the Ulster throne from them English expansion into Ireland didnt help. They wouldve probably murdered an Englishman in cold blood if they had to interact with them. Most of their supplies went through Spanish sources organized by the Jesuits whose mission they were… Mercs? Guards? Designated assholes? Dont know what youd call them, point is the first Englishman that they married was about 80 years ago.
