Summary

Trump is pushing for softer language on Russia’s war in Ukraine, straining G7 unity.

Officials say the U.S. is blocking references to “Russian aggression” and prefers calling it the “Ukraine conflict.”

This shift follows Trump’s peace talks with Putin that excluded Ukraine’s President Zelensky, whom Trump later called a “dictator.”

The change in rhetoric contrasts with Biden-era support for Ukraine and threatens a unified G7 stance.

The liberal candidate barely lost while the progressive candidate didn’t even get a million votes.

What progressive candidate? I didn’t know the Dems even considered a progressive candidate?

Oh, did you mean Jill Stein? So you consider her a progressive candidate now? What happened to all the Dems calling her a Russian asset?

Funny how people like you count her as a progressive candidate when you want to attack progressives, but dismiss her completely whenever people are talking about alternatives to Kamala.

Would you rather talk about Rachele Fruit from the Socialist Workers Party’s total of 4,225 votes?

She only needed 77,298,355 more votes to beat Trump!

Then, would you rather talk about first past the post and how even with that help, the Democrats can’t even beat an idiot like Trump? Why would you think that there are that many people who would vote for a third party that will never win anything vs the DNC if they had been bothered to listen to their support base? The Democrats only have themselves to blame for losing the election.
