Nobody working anywhere would certainly stop people from being rich. It would also result in massive loss of life and nobody having any real commodities.

Fun fact, the only countries without billionaires have people working harder than anybody, just to survive. The two issues, work ethic and wealth disparity, are completely unrelated.
