You’re not a mod here yet, so we can post anything we want. I know you don’t like opposing views. But conservatives aren’t going to leave Lemmy just because you don’t like them.

Once you become a mod, I’ll block it and keep posting to other places. :)

Hence the “unofficially” part, if you care to notice, only the parody posts are actually upvoted 'round here

I don’t care what gets upvoted or downvoted. Until you make it a trash community or I get banned, I’ll post here. But you inspired me to make a libs meme community on another instance. So thank you for that!

As is your right thanks to open source software! Though you might be stepping on the tankies turf with that one

          Have a nice day!

Yep, Lemmy is awesome because no single individual or group can shape the narrative of the entire fediverse exactly the way they want. Let’s say there’s a guy who thinks it’s his mission to purge conservative voices from Lemmy because he’s mad about how they voted in the most recent election—well, he can’t really stop it. No matter how creative he gets with trolling, conservatives will keep joining and speaking up. And the irony? That same attitude—the belief that silencing opposition wins the battle—is exactly why Democrats lost the election. Fucking beautiful. I love watching the meltdowns on Lemmy. :)
