Weren’t chariots generally used in battle? Is this dude telling us he’s conveying himself in a private biblical war machine?

I’m sure he tacked on the word ecclesiastical as an extra tasty crispy tax dodge or whatever, but I find the idea of an unlicensed, unregistered, and uninsured religious contraption of doom kind of terrifying.
