According to the article; Donald Trump now wants us to agree to building another pipeline to send Alberta’s oil to the US. After threatening tariffs and threatening our sovereignty, he now wants us to worry about building another pipeline through which we can sell America our oil at discounted prices in sole benefit of the US.
Any pipelines we build from here on our should focus on A:) getting our oil to the coast so we have reliable access to global markets now that the US has proven themselves unreliable trading partners, or partners of any kind for that matter. And B:) get our oil from Alberta to the East without it having to pass through the United States.
We need LESS dependency on the United States and more pipelines to the benefit of Chuckle Head Trump is not the way to achieve it.
I’m an Albertan, and a conservative as well. And while I do appreciate some of Danielle Smith’s policies, the moment she started talking about fucking with my pension, and as it became increasingly more clear that she’s not as dense as I initially thought and that she is actually consciously malicious towards Albertan’s.
Unfortunately, we don’t have anyone else to vote for in this province and the Cons here haven’t put forward any great candidates lately. I didn’t vote in the last provincial election because I didn’t trust Smith, but I’d rather be stabbed, electrocuted and stabbed simultaneously than cast a vote for the NDP. Instead of using “Bitch” or “Cunt” at work when frustrated, we use “Rachel Notley” so as not to be swearing around the folks in the buildings we work on.
I had have my buddy from Montreal who was in the vehicle translate for me, lol. But I agree!
What is so bad about the Alberta NDP? I’m curious.
They spend WAY too much money.
They are all in on woke lunacy; believing in more than two genders and nonsensical “gender fluidity,” supporting men in women’s sports, and just generally encouraging mental illness instead of advocating for the treatment of mental illness.
They are way too supportive of those organizations designed around ensuring lazy, unreliable, minimally skilled people are able to keep their jobs, also known as unions.
They are far too “supportive” (read: enabling) of drug addicts who bleed the system of tax dollars while being the root cause of the property crime explosion. The NDP actually thinks the answer is too provide “safe, tax payer funded spaces” for the oxygen thieves to consume their ILLEGAL substances, and then wander out into the world to victimize hard working, law abiding citizens.
I’m a “you get what you work for” kind of guy, while the Alberta NDP are more for a “you’ll get what your neighbour worked for” bullshit mindset.
Honestly, there’s really nothing I like or agree with the Alberta NDP about.
I guess your Pension isn’t all that important.
I’m smart, and will in no way be relying on my pension. In that way, it isn’t all that important; I have worked hard and made good financial choices to ensure I would be fine without it.
It’s the principle of Danielle the Ditz thinking she has the right to put her hands on money people have already contributed to an existing pension fund that irks me.
