I’ll take that over whatever the fuck is going on the the US. Even if free speech is diminished a tiny bit. We all (most of us) love Nazis being in prison 👍👍

minus-square@MisterFroglink3•2 days agoWe don’t operate under a framework where everything needs to be 100% defined, else prosecuting/legislating would become unreasonably cumbersome to the point where it’d be so easy to find loopholes. Whatever a jury of your peers determines is reasonable to define as hate speech, under guidance of the law. Here’s an example: https://www.ag.gov.au/national-security/publications/displaying-prohibited-symbols-offences You’re trying so hard to justify that all speech should be tolerated, but it should not. Look what they’re getting the the US, barely hidden Nazis in positions of power. Fuck that.
