    I don’t think we should be engaging in parody right now. This kind of parody led directly to the conversion of significant platforms like reddit and twitter to becoming effectively fascist media outlets.

    Its not funny, or at least, its not funny enough to warrant the consequences.

      I don’t think that will happen here, but I see your point. It’s not actually funny.

      Like a lot of people, I was (am) so very upset by what just happened. I had been angry over a lot of things, and this seems more infuriating. I am so goddamned sad for the the needless suffering and death that has been caused, and continues. I am afraid, I am fearful in my certainty that worse is yet to come.

      I thought that by bringing up previous bullshit as context for current bullshit, maybe I could make some kind of point or relieve my overwhelming feelings of anger and grief for what seems like the collapse of both my country and also Ukraine. It didn’t work.

      I don’t think the time for jokes is passed, but you’re right, it isn’t funny. Thank you for saying so.
