My first thought was I was not so sure about this as it seems like you can’t get enough exposure around our prisons. I however have not seen the programs and I, gasp, read the article. It brought me around. The author clams to have been encarcerated at rikers and while I can’t verify it seems like something dangerous to claim since it would theoretically be easy for some folks to verify. He makes some good points and based on what I know about reality tv it likely would not be showing things as they really are like a documentry might.

I mean it vaguely would and its doing small claims court like matters which don’t work the same as a regular court. it assumes non attorneys.
