I don’t ever want to hear his name again. People like him, and Logan Paul in Japan, who intentionally disrespect entire nations for views, make life harder for those of us who are trying to be contributing members of their societies.

Lock him up until my kid is an adult.

Paul’s drink apparently hit the shelves recently here in Japan (not in my rural corner but in urban areas). Because of japanese defamation laws, I can’t say anything (even saying something 100% provably true can get you sued here), but it sure would be a shame if people brought it up a lot in English and japanese on the internet a lot

Wait, you can’t be critical of someone if they’re selling a product regardless?

They have the death penalty. Imho any country with the death penalty is primitive and inadequate in terms of law. It’s that solution for when your legal system is unable to rehabilitate criminals or keep the population safe otherwise. There’s a reason why most countries with the death penalty are struggling poor African, middle eastern and south east asian nations. Some edge cases on developed countries too, of which Japan is one.

              Japanese law [is] so ass-backwards.

Careful. No matter which country you’re comparing it against, the cherry-picking goes both ways. :-P
