Could be a good time to change from bourbon whiskey to scotch whisky?
Im aware they are similar in name only but another advantage is scotch is delicious without mixers, so your also not buying coke/pepsi/other as mixer, more bang for your buck.

I reccomend mokey shoulder or a ‘sherry cask’ blend for an easy going entry into scotch whisky if your new to it. Also avoid anything ‘peated’ at first, unless your a smoker.
