Summary

Former FEMA CFO Mary Comans is suing the agency and DHS, claiming she was wrongfully fired for approving migrant housing payments that had prior approval from Elon Musk’s DOGE.

Comans says DOGE official Brad Smith instructed her to continue payments, only for Musk to later accuse her of violating Trump’s executive order.

DHS then fired her and labeled her a “deep state activist.”
