This could be bad, but its not permanent so as with your phone you should be restarting your machine at least weekly, if not just shut it down (never use sleep and hibernate). And they would already need root access to get this served into the processor. Also this was patched by AMD last year (end of) so get the latest BIOS and you should be ok.
