The argument I subscribe to when it comes to the death penalty is that the cost of mistakenly executing one innocent person is not worth the risk. You make a very good point in regards to the fact that he admits to the crime. I defiantly see the benefits of this but also can see that this might carry unintentional risks such as people admitting to crimes when under duress (torture makes anyone admit to anything) etc.
You make a fair point. I have no solution to that situation.
But I also don’t like the resources being spent on someone who can never participate in society again anyway.
