    I believe it was something about the rules for how to conduct a funeral. It wasn’t unique or notable at all apparently.

      This is what I have most commonly heard. Haha unless you ask my TBM parents. Then we are off into the weeds again, and not the fun kind of weed.

      Yes, funeral papyrus.

      The man’s name was Hor (Horace). That’s not a joke. Joseph Smith was that far off base.

        @TempleSquare @[email protected] The official excuse is that the papyrus “inspired” the revelation, despite multiple claims that it was a direct translation.

        Not that there needs to be a smoking gun, but if anyone was looking for one to prove mormonism is a fraud, this is a big one.
