Thank you. I’ve always assumed that it was specific to a former lover or at least personal relationship. I can’t think of any cases I’ve heard of that weren’t.
The reason it’s more common with former lovers is because they’re the most likely person to have access to the victim’s nudes due to the past relationship. So it is rare for it to happen with other people, though it’s not unheard of.
