An alternative implies a someone equivalent product. Other satellite services aren’t equivalent. It’s like telling someone to cancel their fiber and use a dial up modem because its equivalent.

If 5g was available everywhere, no one would use Starlink which is slower and more expensive. Starlink is used where you can’t get 5g.
Not a comparable alternative in terms of bandwidth and other factors… but they do exist.
