Inspired by the linked XKCD. Using 60% instead of 50% because that’s an easy filter to apply on rottentomatoes.

I’ll go first: I think “Sherlock Holmes: A game of Shadows” was awesome, from the plot to the characters ,and especially how they used screen-play to highlight how Sherlocks head works in these absurd ways.

    I first watched Valerian a couple weeks ago and really enjoyed it. The plot and characters were fairly generic, but the rest of the movie played by the rule of cool.

      That’s fair. For a “popcorn” movie, I just really need to enjoy spending time with the leads, and it just didn’t click for me with Valerian. Conversely, for all the bee gloop and DNA dynasty and flying rollerblades and other extremely weird shit that was sort of half-assedly put together in Jupiter Ascending, Tatum and Kunis had me more invested.
