I installed JF on ubuntu mate + jellyfin. However, can’t connect to my local network devices e.g. amazon firestick? Should I open port forwarding 8096?

Did that and still can’t access It on firestick or laptop.
How are you setting up your client? http://<YOUR-IP>:8096 should do, if you try https then a reverse proxy may be needed
HTTP://my IP:8096
I think is router tomorrow will try to open that port
