You are more likely to have an impact by lobbying auto insurance companies to either mark these cars as uninsurable or Jack up their rates because they’re more likely to kill a pedestrian in an accident.
Seems like cars are almost never ruled to be at fault when they hit pedestrians, so I’m not sure how much it impacts insurance companies’ bottom line.
